Power of ChaosHigh-Quality (192kbps) Download from local site Song Info Genre: Experimental. VERY experimental. Time: 2:26 Description: I've been debating whether or not this actually deserves its own page, or whether it should just be slapped onto the outtakes page. However, I decided to relent, and give this thing its very own page. However, this track is very much of a strange experiment into weird granular effects and supersaw mayhem than it is a normal track - of course, given some of the stuff that I've posted here, the distinction probably isn't as meaningful as you'd think. The track pretty much began while playing around with an awesome free AudioUnit synth called Automat, put out by the veteran synth creators behind Buzzer, AlphaKanal. One of the presets that came as an add-on contained a crazy supersaw patch, which I began to play around with. I started adding other stuff, from Filterscape, Vanguard, and Reaktor, and then messing around with a variety of strange granular and timestretching effects. The result is... something with a melodic pattern to it, but pretty much just semi-repetitve aural craziness. Good luck figuring out what the loop used in this track is :) I actually listen to this track without much complaint. But then again, I'm the kind of person who makes this stuff in the first place. So I'll just say this: If you could handle Noel, then this track is perfect for you... |
